FX Networks
Program: "Lucky" TV Show / Showgirls Promotion
Client: FX Networks
Agency: Powerpact
Program Type: Costumed collateral distribution

Program Overview

In April of 2003 FX Networks introduced the TV show "Lucky", starring John Corbett and set in Las Vegas. Street Teams USA provided teams of "Showgirls" to create a buzz about the show in New York City. Consumers were given free subway MetroCards and asked to watch the show. Other tie-ins included Z100 Radio station personalities and special issues of the New York Post newspaper. By targeting high-traffic areas such as subway stations and Yankee Stadium, Street Teams USA distributed 20,000 MetroCards featuring our client's message over a two-day period.

Staff Requirements

We provided three Team Leaders to scout locations and provide logistics. We provided 12 beautiful women to play the "Vegas Showgirl" role. Our teams worked together in difficult weather conditions to create this exciting promotion, and achieved quantifiable results. (see testimonial)

Event Logistics

Street Teams USA provided exciting spokesmodels, backed by seasoned Team Leaders. We coordinated with our client to assure that costume fittings, location scouting and materials-handling were performed and that the event was executed succesfully.
